Our Process

1. Sign up for Google for Nonprofits

This is quite easy, but approval can take up to 6 weeks. You will need to provide:

  • EIN number
  • Physical address
  • Your website address

2. Sign up for Google Ad Grants

This is extremely easy, and it will take a few days for Google to approve your Ad Grant account.

3. Research your donors

We take a look at who is already donating to your organization, so we know who to target. We do this by looking at data from your Customer Relationship Management (CRM)software or simply surveying your customers.

4. Develop Search Query (Keyword) List

With an understanding of your donors, we can develop the search query list on which we’ll spend your ad budget. We’re often looking for very specific search queries with low traffic that are cheaper and demonstrate donors in a mind state when they’re ready to give.

5. Create landing pages

Your website homepage may not be the best place to send these new donors. They have expectations, and we don’t want to distract them from their intent. Our landing pages are minimal and focused on driving users toward the action we want them to take.

6. Earn new revenue

That ad spend should be generating new revenue. We’re not spending money simply for the sake of spending money. We provide reports that show you the return on your investment, so you know how your marketing is performing.

7. Go back to step 3

With new donors, we have troves of more data. Let’s gather it, so we can continue to get more revenue out of the dollars we spend. These data will not only help improve your Google Ads campaign, but it can help improve your:
